And of course it was amazing, but I find a really really deep beauty in these films.
And of course I cried.

I cried like a big frightening baby |
Mostly because of what I like to call the toys struggle, which is inevitably the same as the human condition.
All the toys know that the one child they love will someday leave them, they will be forgotten.
Their whole life is just someone else's playtime. Luckily the majority of toys in these movies spend their time in ignorant bliss, living their lives.
Then there are the villain toys like Stinky Pete, and the Lots-o-huggin bear.
The Prospector was never loved, as some people are not. He spent eternity hoping for someone to take him in. This is responsible for his misanthropic nature, which to an extent rings true in the toy's world. He even asks if Andy will take him to college, that he will spend an eternity in a land fill. Which almost comes true.
Lots-o-Huggin was once loved, deeply, and was on the top of his world, the favorite toy, our equivalent would be a best friend or lover.
Something happened, and after one small slip, he was dethroned, replaced, he decided to give up.
The thing about these antagonists is they are completely justifiable, we all feel this in our lives.
Though the majority of toys live their lives as we do, enjoying the love we receive.
All the toys have such unconditional love for their kids, and at first the feeling in mutual, but eventually that love fades, or we just pretend to not love our toys anymore, to act more 'grown up'.
Though that connection is still there, and always will be.
I'm sure that we all had a 'Woody' in our childhood, and maybe you are lucky enough to still have it this day. If that is the case, take it out and look at it for a while, let all the memories flood back to you, these are treasured parts of your childhood.

All of life's lessons |
And we really have to hold on to any shred of happiness we can get in this world.
one final note
Whats up with Bullseye? He is the only 'animal' form they have there. I mean, he is a horse, that makes dog noises.
I mean, dogs are sentient in this, like Slink.
Maybe he is 'special'
