Updates
I got a pretty cool idea for a Youtube venture.
Actually I have had a lot of neat ideas lately, I'm gonna try and follow up on more of them.
Like Improv, which I am doing a lot of lately, I will show you a cool improv blog, and I hope to eventually make it semi-pro sort of thing.
Also with writing, I am reading Women by Charles Bukowski now, and I love it.
I need to do essays, the sort of things I could get magazines to buy, or cracked.
Same thing Fatal Caliber pre pro is going along, but I need to go over the script again.
I pulled an all nighter tonight, I worked on homework the whole time.
I like doing that, you can kind of do it at a relaxed pace.

Fatal Caliber Pre Pro 1
Fatal Caliber is going along pretty well, and been keeping me pretty busy.
Its pretty exciting business so far, James Warwick and I are working on investment packets & budgeting.
We are expecting a pretty big budget for this thing. 'Big' of course meaning larger than the budget for Grit Magnum. ($300).
I'm really excited about all the wonderful people on this project, James Warwick, mentioned above will be head producer for Fatal Caliber, check out his site here.
A good colleague of mine Steve Griggs will be flown in to be the Cinematographer. His site, and some of his work is here.
Myles Slonkier (Composer), Sam Johnson (Editor), Ross Payton (Grit Magnum), Chip Wasson (Gaffer) and Scott Trout (Adrian Doyle) will all be returning.
I am directing, writing, and playing Grit's new rival on the force, Griggs.
Other stuff
On another note, I started up classes again at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California.
My classes are amazing this semester, and I'm sure it will result in some pretty interesting projects for y'all to watch!

Anyways its the sequel to Grit Magnum!
I finished the 2nd draft and it is coming along really well, in fact this weekend in Steamboat Springs I will be hosting a preproduction retreat!
More news to come!

Writing Names for Characters
Coming up with names is the worst part of writing for me.
One time I 'came up' with the name Art Garfunkel for a character.
I think of a name that sounds good, like a real name, only to find out it is the name of an actual person, or another character.
Like I just named a character Julius Verner.
Seems fine, until you recall the author of 20,000 leagues under the sea
Jules Verner.
Damn.

My thoughts on Love
I was just thinking about love today...
here is my philosophy on it.
Love is a lot simpler and easier than everyone thinks. Love happens really quickly, it is the same as 'liking' someone. Not the same as attraction, but the next step up.
Love happens quickly, and it grows, becomes deeper.
